Tim was definitely a legend of his species and a pride of Amboseli National park. Despite being a natural death and not being on the hand of poachers is still a great loss. #RIPTim

I have been privileged to see Tim, the majestic elephant in Amboseli National park. I’m saddened by the news of his death. The unique giants with unbelievably long tusks, originally from Marsabit National Reserve in northern Kenya are no more. We can only see them in the museum
