Made for the way you want to travel.

This is our most popular safari for first-time visitors and short-on-time travellers. We depart Nairobi early, climb down the Rift Valley escarpment, and arrive at the Mara in time for an afternoon game drive. Two full days of wildlife follow, with picnic lunches served in the bush. We close with a sunrise drive before the drive back to Nairobi.

🛤 Plan by day

Day 1

Nairobi → Masai Mara

Early morning departure from Nairobi (07:30) with a scenic drive down the Rift Valley. Stop at the Viewpoint for photos of the Great Rift, then continue past Narok town. Arrive at the Mara in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive returning at sunset.

Activities: Game drive, scenic drive

Stay: Mara Springs Safari Camp or similar

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2

Full Day in the Mara

Two extended game drives — morning (06:30–11:30) and afternoon (15:30–18:30) — with a picnic lunch in the bush. We track the Big Five, visit the Mara River hippo pools, and search for big cats. Optional Maasai village visit at midday.

Stay: Mara Springs Safari Camp

Day 3

Sunrise Drive → Nairobi

Pre-dawn coffee and a sunrise game drive at 06:00 — prime time for predators. Return for brunch, then drive back to Nairobi, arriving around 17:00 with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.

Activities: Sunrise game drive, return transfer
