A short but scenic trek through the Aberdare moorlands. We start from the Gatimu Gate, climb past Karuru Falls (Kenya's third-highest waterfall), and camp overnight near the elephant migration corridors.

Day 1

Gatimu Gate → Karuru Falls → Camp

Depart Nairobi 06:00, drive 3 hours to Gatimu Gate. Begin trek past bamboo, climb through moorland to Karuru Falls viewpoint. Continue to camp (3,400 m) for sunset.

Activities: Scenic drive, trek

Stay: Tented camp

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Altitude: 3,400 m

Day 2

Camp → Twin Peaks → Return

Morning trek to the Twin Peaks and Table Mountain area, then descend via the wandare gate. Meet vehicle, return to Nairobi by 19:00.
