Ngare Ndare Is A Forest Based At The Foothills Of Mt. Kenya. Azure Pools Glisten At The Bottom Of Waterfalls And A Bunch Of Trees Stretch Into The Canopy Supporting A Competitive Variety Of Bird And Animal Life. The Forest Is A Vital Corridor That Links The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy To Mount Kenya, And One Which Elephants Have Been Using For Centuries.The canopy walkway is a 40 ft. high aerial bridge of wiremesh and cables meandering through the tree canopy and extending 450 metres long. The walkway ends at a wooden platform 30ft. high, where you can relax and enjoy a view of the river from this elevated vantage point. Elephants and buffaloes frequently come here to drink and wallow, and one can enjoy a drink or a meal at the lofty leafy deck. 6:00 Am: DEPART FOR NANYUKI Get Picked Up At A Point Of Your Choice And Depart For Nanyuki (Ngare Ndare). Stop Over At Karatina Town For Snack/Breakfast Can Be Made Upon. The Driver Takes Approximately 4 Hours 42 Minutes To Get To Nanyuki Town 11:00 Am: ARRIVE AT NANYUKI Have A Brief Stopover. At the equator 11:20 Am: DEPART FOR NGARE NDARE Depart To Ngare Ndare Forest A 40 Minutes’ Drive From Nanyuki Town, Via Lewa Conservancy Route As We Enjoy The Welcoming View Of The Rare Grevy Zebra Among Other Wildlife. 12:26 Pm: ARRIVE AT NGARE NDARE FOREST Enjoy A Picnic Lunch At The Wooden Platform Deck 1:00 Pm: HIKING Begin A 2 – 3 Hours Hiking In The Company Of A Trained And Experienced Tour Guide And There After Take A Walk In The 450 Meter Canopy Walk. 3:00pm: VISIT NGARE NDARE FALLS Hike To The Ngare Ndare Falls, Which Is About 3.5 Km From The Canopy Walk. Grace The Blue Pool Of Water At The Falls With A Swim. Diving Is Also Permitted For Those Who Are Brave Enough To Face The Wrath Of The Chilled Waters. 4:00 Pm After A Long Day Of Adventure We Relax At The Green Scenery As We Enjoy The Cozy Environment And Later Depart For Nairobi. 8:00 Pm Arrive Back At Our Pick Up Point At Nairobi
