Nairobi National Park Is Located In Nairobi, Kenya, As The Name Suggests. It Is The Only Park In The World That Is Within The City Centre. Nairobi National Park Is About 117 Sq Km In Size. The Park Has A Variety Of Wild Animals; This Include Lions ,Hyenas ,Leopards And Cheetahs ,Gazelle, Warthogs, Zebra, Giraffe, Ostrich, Buffalo And About 400 Bird Species That Are Within The Parks Wetland Areas. 6:30AM NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife 11AM – 12PM DAVID SHEDRICK The park was established in 1977, after the death of David Shedrick; an anti poaching warden. The park houses orphaned baby elephants and rhinos and reintroducing them back into the wild .Here you get a chance to view the baby elephants as they are been bottle-feed. You will also get a chance to see Maxwell, a blind rhino who lives in a large stockade for his protection. AFTERNOON GIRAFFE CENTRE Giraffe centre is located in between Langata – Karen .the park was started in order to protect the highly endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe .activities include; observing, hand feeding or even kissing a Giraffe. You can also be lucky to spot warthogs snuffling about in the mud. LUNCH : Can be at Mamba Village or Carnival or other place of choice
